Kim R. Burningham past president of the Utah State Office of Education Board and strong advocate for teachers and common sense education was honored by the UEA House of Delegates on April 25, 2009. Mr. Burningham has been a champion for public education for many years. His love of education and teachers has been evident as he has stood up to those who want to privatize education. Mr. Burningham is presently a member of the Utah State Board of Education and will continue to be a strong advocate for Utah's public education.
