Darren Hodges, a Science teacher at Oak Canyon Junior High School in Alpine School District, was honored at a school assembly recently for being the winner of the Great Public Schools Celebration - Outstanding Education Program. Darren has worked tirelessly to develop an outstanding science academic program for his students. He and the entire Oak Canyon Junior High School student body and staff were honored and entertained at the assembly by a surprise visit from the Utah Jazz Bear. This extremely special visit provided the final touch to an already impressive honor earned by Darren Hodges in his prized educational award.
