Sandra Strange, an English and Yearbook teacher at Salem Hills High School in Nebo School District, was awarded the Veterans of Foreign Wars Teacher of the Year title. Sandra is a daughter, granddaughter, and wife if veterans of various foreign wars. When she received this award, Sandra expressed much gratitude for the honor. She said, "I am proud to represent the thousands of teachers, who, like me, work very hard to educate the youth of our country, and help them grow up to be good, honorable adults and responsible citizens of the U. S."
